How does Laser Hair Treatment work?

The laser light of the Clarity device specifically targets the pigment of the hair follicle, leaving the surrounding skin intact. The light then destroys the follicle so that the hair growth is inhibited. The device uses a dual wavelength platform combining long pulsed 755nm Alexandrite and 1064nm Nd:YAG.

Who is a candidate for Laser Hair Treatment?

Men and women with unwanted facial or body hair are fans of laser hair reduction. Many men use it for removal of back hair, as well as a reduction of facial hair so that shaving becomes virtually unnecessary.

For women, unwanted hair can be a significant embarrassment. Laser hair removal can rid women of unwanted facial or body hair on a variety of areas, such as on the upper lip, chin, chest, stomach, arms, armpits, legs, and bikini line.

What can I expect from Laser Hair Treatment?

While no hair removal method is 100% permanent, the little bit of hair that grows back after Laser Hair Treatment is lighter and softer. If you are tanned, we will have to wait until the tan has faded before we can treat you.

How long do the results of Laser Hair Treatment last?

While the hair reduction is permanent, there may be some additional growth. For this reason, some of our clients do occasional touch-up treatments.

How many treatments do I need and how much does it cost?

We start with a series of 5 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. After the series, we generally see 50-90% reduction, with the lighter skin types seeing greater results. Darker skin types need 6-12 treatments to start.

A package of 5 treatments has 20% discount. After the initial series, our clients receive 50% off subsequent treatments for that area. If a client has done many areas, they can also do time-based touch-ups.
