What Can I Expect from a Liquid Facelift?

Do you want a facelift, but aren’t quite ready to go under the knife? A liquid facelift might be just what you’re looking for. Like a traditional facelift a liquid lift can lift sagging skin, eliminate wrinkles, and noticeably turn back the clock, but unlike a facelift it is completely non-surgical which means no incisions, no scarring, and no prolonged recovery period. If you’re interested in learning more about a liquid facelift keep reading or pick up the phone and give us a call to schedule your consultation with Dr. Chang.

What is a Liquid Facelift?

A liquid facelift relies on cosmetic injectables to reduce the signs of facial aging. Each injection is strategically placed to lift and fill in problem areas. The process might sound easy, but in reality it requires a skilled hand and a doctor with lots of experience. A Platinum Plus injector (an honor given to only the top 5% of aesthetic injectors) like Dr. Chang can leave you looking rejuvenated and refreshed after a liquid lift while someone with less experience might leave you looking puffy and overdone. Always choose your provider carefully.

While a typical filler treatment might only involve one type of filler, a liquid facelift utilizes the unique properties of several different injectables. Dr. Chang will carefully evaluate your face and create a custom tailored treatment plan that will use the wide array of fillers available to target your specific problem areas. We can’t cover each potential filler in depth here, but check out our website (information on Botox, Radiesse, Belotero, Sculptra, Juvederm, and Juvederm Voluma) for more information and feel free to ask Dr. Chang any questions you might have.

Does Treatment Hurt?

If you’re worried about experiencing pain and discomfort during treatment, don’t be. Many of our patients share your concerns and are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable these procedures actually are. We start by numbing the treatment area with a topical anesthetic. The needles used are very fine and injections will be placed in a variety of locations across the face. Some injections will be placed deeply while others are shallower. You may feel some tenderness and bruising over the first few days after treatment.

Recovery from a Liquid Facelift

After your liquid facelift you can resume your regular activities immediately. Many patients come in during the afternoon and are back at work the very next morning. Makeup will typically cover any redness or bruising you may experience. Follow up injections will be needed to maintain your youthful new look. We’ll set up a schedule with you to keep you looking great.

Best of all, the results are very natural looking. Friends, family, and acquaintances will notice that you look amazing, but they won’t know you’ve had a liquid facelift. That can remain our little secret.

Give us a call today and schedule your liquid facelift consultation.

Patient Stories Dr. Chang has an eye for symmetry and aesthetics. I went in for a consultation to have fillers under my eyes. Instead I was educated on my facial anatomy. I agreed to some fillers in my forehead and cheeks instead and could not be more pleased with the outcome.
