How long does the Acne laser procedure take?
20 minutes per treatment, twice a week for 4 weeks.
Is it painful?
No. you may feel a warm sensation. Blue and red light treatments are painless and easy.
Is it safe?
Mild “blushing” of the skin may occur for those with sensitive skin that lasts for a few minutes. No other side effects are known. Complication is extremely rare. In less than 1 % of cases, skin lightning or darkening may occur.
How many treatments are required?
It depends on the severity of acne. Typically 8 treatments in intervals of 2 treatments per week (4 week total) are recommended.
What results can I expect?
Although 100% of the acne symptoms may not be cleared, a significant reduction in new acne lesions should be noticed with in a few weeks.
